Rachael Elliott (US), bassoon, is a founding member of Clogs and an active chamber musician in classical and contemporary music. Her first solo bassoon CD, Polka the Elk, includes five world premiere recordings of music by Padma Newsome, David Lang and Tawnie Olson and was released in 2011.

In addition to Clogs, Rachael is a member of Dark in the Song (contemporary bassoon collective), Heliand Consort and the Vermont Contemporary Music Ensemble. This season, she is thrilled to be part of the Rushes Ensemble, which will be touring Michael Gordon's new work for seven bassoons.
